'UK made cluster bombs used in Yemen'

The British defense secretary has been aware of a government analysis showing that UK-made cluster munitions were used by Saudi Arabia in its aggression against Yemen, UK media say.
A source told British daily The Guardian that Michael Fallon is among the ministers to have known about the investigation for about a month.

No alternative to inter-Syrian talks:Russia

Russia says a political settlement based on the resumption of "inclusive inter-Syrian" negotiations and enforcing an "all-encompassing ceasefire" is the sole solution to the years-long conflict in the Arab country.
"The first and foremost task today is the establishment of all-encompassing ceasefire and the resumption of inter-Syrian negotiations, the readiness of which Damascus has re-confirmed repeatedly," Russia’s Ambassador to the UN Vitaly Churkin said at a Security Council meeting in New York on Friday.

Will not accept any changes in IWT: Pak

Islamabad:- Fearing that India is buying time to complete two disputed water projects, Pakistan made it clear it would not accept any modifications or changes to the Indus Waters Treaty after New Delhi said on Friday it was ready to bilaterally resolve its differences with Islamabad over the pact’s implementation.

Chinese ship seizes US underwater drone

Beijing :- A Chinese warship has captured US Navy underwater drone collecting information in the South China Sea, according to the Pentagon.
US Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, a Pentagon spokesman, on Friday did not name the underwater glider but claimed that it was collecting unclassified scientific data in the sea.
He said the US State Department has filed a formal diplomatic protest, known as a demarche, to China and is demanding the drone's return.

Iraqi troops liberate 10 villages from IS

Mosul:- Iraqi military forces have flushed out foreign-backed Daesh terrorists from 10 villages west of the city of Tal Afar in Nineveh Province, as part of a major operation to liberate the key city of Mosul.
A military official from the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Units announced on Thursday that Iraqi forces have driven out the terrorists out of the villages as part of the fifth phase of the Nineveh liberation operation during the course of three days.
